Topini già un po' masticati

Davide Gualtieri
There's a story told by Teacher Giusy and heard by a little girl among the school desks. It's the tale of two cats who somehow fall in love. He's so lazy that he gives up eating because it's too much effort to chew the food, so she occasionally brings him mice that are already a bit chewed. –Maybe this is love!– thinks the girl as she listens to the story. Bringing each other nourishment that's easy to consume, because even beautiful things are not always easy to accept. A simple story that makes you reflect on relationships, on being together without a possible flaw becoming an obstacle. Helping without submitting to the other, welcoming without giving up oneself. I've collected some photos taken of my partner Luna and the world around her, now that some time has passed since hearing that story among the school desks. A life narrative, a celebration of unspoken love. A reflection on the interweaving of life and art. The audience can contribute to the work by rearranging the order of the images as they please. Each visitor, if they want, can decide how many and which photos to move and where in the chain. At the end of the exhibition, we'll have another piece, a sequence decided by a community, which can show me and Luna something new and unexpected about our life together.
