Effigere

Tiziana Rivoni
Tiziana Rivoni attends the Fourth Artistic High School and the Faculty of Architecture in Rome. From her very first experiences, she became passionate about the human figure and its space. Her encounters with the artist Nunzio Di Stefano and the architectMarcello Quiriconi heightened this fascination and directed her towards a contemplative understanding of space, for a comprehension and design of"that space" when it is also a perceptive moment, for the possession of that moment where man is both part and separate, part and apart.

Since 2008, she has been working on the Teste di Moro (Moor's Heads). From a commission for a work and are interpretation of the Sicilian vase, a research project has emerged, still evolving, on the theme of the anthropomorphic vase and then the canopic jars, a work on the face and human nature, on memory and contemporaneity. Currently, a new cycle of sculptures is being added to the theme of the Teste di Moro: Effigiere, a work still focused on the human figure; space - time - earth -human figure, with a time that is also still and the figure that is also its own.
